31 Day Challenge- Day 5- BLUE

So it is my firm belief that there is not enough hours in the day.
Especially when I have a million things to do and the weather here is beautiful.
I don't know about the rest of you, but in Washington, if the weather is nice, we relish it while we can.
Hence the blue mermaid nails. At least that is what I have been calling them.
I am obsessed with this dotting technique and really enjoy the mosaic look it creates, but the blue definitely looks like scales to me.

For this manicure I pulled every blue that I owned out, so here is the list.
Essie Aruba Blue, Beach Bum Blu, and Bikini So Teeny
Sephora by OPI Havana Dreams and Skinny Jeans
China Glaze For Audrey and Splish Splash

31 Day Challenge- Day 4- GREEN

I plan to make this one short and sweet, I need to get back to posting everyday and I have a backlog of pictures just screaming at me to be put up.
Green started out as a twist on this citrus themed manicure here. Nailside was one of the first blogs I found that inspired me to start, I highly recommend that you check her out.
Anyways, I was hoping to make them look like limes, but I think that they turned out more like kiwi's.
Which is fine, I'll take it.

For this manicure I used the following colors:
Essie Mojito Madness (Summer 2012)
Sinful Colors Nail Art Sour Apple and Time Off

31 Day Challenge-Day 3- YELLOW

Seems like everyone has been MIA lately but I had a great reason, I SWEAR.
I was moving. I'm talking trying to fit an entire household of crap back into my parents house, and my childhood bedroom. And let me tell you, my room is not big.
My nail polish and camera has been lost in the shuffle and I have not had the time or energy to go after them.
(They were hiding together btw)

But I have finally unearthed them and as I search the internet for a job I present you with day three!

This one was super simple, and to learn how to do dots I followed this great tutorial here

31 Day Challenge- Day 2- ORANGE

So here we are onto day two...
Orange started out with a complete fail, I tried to do mini oranges on my fingers.
They looked more like apples and I refuse to post any pictures.
So I tried something a little more simple, if you can call neon orange with teal simple.
Without further ado, Orange!

The colors that I used were China Glaze Orange Knockout (Neon) and Essie Trophy Wife for the dots.
If the dots look off, it because they are! I started at one side of the nail and moved a little bit sideways as I moved along each finger.
Also the color looks more neon than it will show up on my poor camera, if you are looking for a good neon, I highly recommend it.

Peace and Love,
Ronni

31 Day Challenge- Day 1 RED

Told you to expect it soon. For this manicure I used three coats of Orly Haute Red as a base and used Sinful Colors Nail Art Lazy Girl. For the hearts I used my beloved dotting tools and of course liberal coats of Seche Vite.

But enough about what I did, here are the pics!

Oh. And as a little FYI: I'm left handed, so my right hand will always be better, so I'm not magic or anything when it comes to my right hand.

Peace and Love,
Ronni

Current Obsession: Nail Polish

So even though my gut tells me that this blog will end up devoted to my new found nail art addiction, I couldn't think of a better title to describe who I am. So here it goes.

I am recent college grad. And I have no idea what I’m doing with my life so don't ask. No really don't. So I thought to occupy my time I would begin with the Nail Polish Challenge.

 Expect Day 1 REALLY soon.

Peace and Love,

Ronni
